Have your say about the next Code of Practice for the Transportation of Livestock and Poultry by completing this short survey!

The National Farm Animal Council and its partners have initiated a revision to the 2001 transportation Code of Practice using the process established by the National Farm Animal Care Council (NFACC). Once completed, the Code of Practice for the Transportation of Livestock and Poultry will outline required and recommended practices for all stages of on-road transport.

This brief and informal survey focusses on broad topics that could be included in the Code of Practice for the Transportation of Livestock and Poultry.
Tell the NFACC your top-of-mind thoughts on the welfare of farm animals during transport.

An important preliminary step in this process is to invite the industry, general public, and all other interested individuals to submit their top-of-mind welfare-related concerns. This input will help to inform the development of the Code.

To ensure that the Working Groups and the Code Development Committee can consider input in a timely manner, the survey will remain open until March 31, 2019.
