The Alberta Lamb Producers Board of Directors has been working with ALP’s legal counsel on how to ensure ALP’s Board of Directors has a good mix of skilled and experienced directors, while welcoming and mentoring new Board members. This change is critically important as the current term limits and board succession schedule will result in the potential turnover of over five Board Directors at the 2021 Annual General Meeting.

In order to support board recruitment and succession planning, the following changes are proposed to the Plan Regulation:
What do you think of these proposed changes? We want to hear from you!
Please forward any comments, suggestions, questions or concerns to the ALP prior to July 31, 2021.
Pending feedback from producers and stakeholders, the Board intends to move forward with the proposed Plan Regulation amendments prior to the ALP Annual General Meeting on November 20, 2021.
