Sheep Calendar

The 2016 Sheep Showcase will be open Friday, July 8 to Sunday, July 17 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily except on the three "special days" July 10 and 13 when it will open at 9 a.m. It is located in the Agrium Western Events Centre. This interesting area has a variety of different breeds of sheep that are well adapted to Alberta's climate. You can speak to breeders and learn plenty of information about wool, sheep products, stock dogs, shearing and all sorts of fun and interesting facts. Sprinkled among the exhibits are demonstrations by knowledgable sheep owners.
On Friday, July 8 and Saturday July 9 don't miss the exciting North American Sheap Shearing Competition in the Ag Zone.
On July 9 and 10 the World Stockdog Championship will be held at the Agrium Western Event Centre.
